I met with Kathleen Hanna October 30 2011 right after a screening for Le Tigre documentary Who Took Bomp! I bought it pre show and met Kathleen Hanna post show. I was in atlanta GA and found out about this through Kathleens website just a week prior. I met a girl that’s a fan of riot grrl especialy Kat and we started talking on facebook after that. I was moved to first of line to meet Kat after screening and Q and A with her. I had been emailing her since 2 days prior about getting autographs and some pictures together! My first impression of the documentary is that I wish I could have seen Le Tigre in concert whn they were around! I love them all soo much! The documentarys post Q and A with Kat was really Inspiring! I recorded audio too and was very impressed with some of the questions even from males and of course the answers. When it was time to meet Kathleen she was so easy to talk to and of course down to earth. We first did autograph signing 1 on 1. I had her sign the Julie Ruin CD, Bikini Kill Singles album, and Le Tigre Feminist Sweepstakes album! I gave her a card for early birthday wishes! Then we took 2 pictures together that were taken by a girl I had just met. After I met up with my parents and waited for other fans to get pics and autographs. My dad and I talked to her and he took 2 pics out of the 4 and those 2 are my faves! After she signed my Le Tigre poster and dvd and we walked out of the room together and she gave me a hug and said hello to my mom! Best day of my life and I am so grateful I met my favorite riot grrl from all of my fav female fronted bands!  <3
